Team Fundraising
Fundraising as part of a team can be fun and a great way to include everyone in supporting a great cause. If you are part of a corporate team then there are many ways your company can show their support.
- Read about matched funding to see how you can double your efforts!
- Use your very own team web page to make it easier to manage your team online.
- Before you get started, read about how our past teams have fundraised.
- Set a team goal and ask all team members to contribute. If you have a team of 20, why not set a goal of $500 each which will then raise a total of $10,000 for the team! Collecting donations via your web page is the easiest way to fundraise.
- If you have the same friends / co-workers, ask sponsors to donate towards the whole team as opposed to individual team members. They can easily donate online via your team web page.
- Organise a special fundraising event and ask all team members to assist in the planning, running of the event and marketing to attendees. You will find it is a lot easier when the work is shared and you will have a great time doing it!
Ways to promote your fundraising efforts

- Send an invite for people to sponsor you on Facebook.
- Why not ask if you can send something out in your company's payslips that are sent to employees.
