Why do you support MS Australia?
Because a member of my family has MS.
What do you find appealing about the Melbourne Summer Cycle?
The thing about the Melbourne Summer Cycle that appealed to me was that it was a bike ride because I love bike riding and I was also keen to ride over the West Gate Bridge.
How did you go about reaching your fundraising goal?
I did a movie night with the kids in my street and got about $70 all up from them. My family helped a lot and friends from other places gave lots too.
How easy and rewarding did you find fundraising?
I originally set my target at $100 but it didn't take long for me to reach that so I had to keep raising my target. I eventually made my target $1500 and still got higher!
Do you have any tips for fundraisers in the 2011 Melbourne Summer Cycle?
My tips would be for the actual ride to do a lot of training because it's a big ride! As far as fundraising goes, just ask every one for support.
How did you enjoy the day?
I enjoyed the day very much and especially enjoyed the West Gate Bridge! It had a great view!
Will you be back, bigger and better in 2011?
Yes I definitely will be back bigger and better in 2011! I'm very excited and will start fundraising soon.
